Center for the Performing Arts - Located in San Jose, the Center for the Performing Arts - designed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation - features performing arts, dance, theater, concerts, and events, plus an elegant after-theater area.

Elizabeth F. Gamble House and Gardens – Located in Palo Alto, this 1902 Colonial Georgian estate is set on a 2.3-acre estate. Bequeathed by Elizabeth F. Gamble, this community horticultural foundation features an historic home, a carriage house, a teahouse and several formal and working gardens. Self-guided tours are offered daily. Civic Center Park – Located on El Camino Real in Santa Clara, Civic Center Park is a beautiful three-acre park with colorful flower beds and a large reflecting pool and fountains. This park is the site of the Statue of Saint Clare, the City's namesake, a bronze statue cast by Anne Van Kleeck in Italy in 1965.

Raging Waters – Raging Waters in San Jose is the world’s greatest water adventure with maximum thrills, water rides, attractions, and shops. Winchester Mystery House - Beautiful, yet bizarre, the Winchester Mystery House is an amazing tour. Built in 1884, it occupied the lives of carpenters and craftsmen until Sarah L. Winchester’s death 38 years later. An architectural marvel, the Victorian mansion is filled with unexplained oddities, such as a staircase to the ceiling and a door that opens onto a wall. Moffett Field – Originally the Naval Air Station’s base for the Navy dirigible U.S.S. Macon, Moffett Field is home to NASA Ames Research Center. HP PavilionSan Jose Arena - In addition to the 41 San Jose Sharks regular season home games, the HP Pavilion at San Jose - the San Jose Arena - hosts 120 to 180 events every year, including Olympic athletes, Grammy award-winning musicians, first-rate shows, exhibitions and competitions, and a variety of family and children's favorites. San Jose Arena occupies 17 acres in downtown San Jose.

Baylands Park - Sunnyvale's Baylands Park features 70 acres of parkland, pathways and picnic areas for recreation. The 105-acre Wetlands Preserve provides a protected habitat for plants, wildlife and birds. Over 2 miles of unpaved pathways wind through the park and flowering pear trees for jogging or walking, and a paved bike path starts from the entrance. View the park and Bay Area from the crests of the Wave Walk, or hike the San Francisco Bay Trail. Baylands Grove Amphitheater presents musical concerts and events.

Gilroy Garlic Festival - Gilroy has hosted the world's best food festival for over 25 years to celebrate the end of the garlic harvest and raise money for local charities. Sunnyvale/Santa Clara Golf & Tennis
Sunnyvale Golf Course – Sunnyvale's municipal golf course is a short, flat course with well-placed trees and bunkers, 6 water holes, and tree-lined fairways. This course can become very tough and windy in the afternoon as it lies across Hwy. 101 from Moffett Field. Call (408) 738-3666.

Sunken Gardens Golf Course - Located in Sunnyvale, the Sunken Gardens Golf Course is a public 9-hole, par 3 course. Hole #6 - a 271 yard par 4 – is probably the best challenge on the course. Sunken Gardens is a great place to practice your game, especially if you’re a beginner, but getting around the course may take some time. Call (408) 739-6588.

Santa Clara Golf & Tennis Club – The 155-acre Santa Clara Golf & Tennis Club features a championship 18-hole, links-style golf course designed by Robert Muir Graves. The 72 par, 6,704 yard course is a challenging layout for all skill levels. Shoreline Golf Links - Adjacent to San Francisco Bay in Mountain View, Shoreline Golf Links is an 18-hole, championship golf course that challenges golfers with numerous bunkers and doglegs.
